Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum

Westpark’s curriculum fosters a love for learning through a child-centered, inquiry-based approach, combining Emergent Learning and Reggio Emilia principles to support each child’s growth, creativity, and development.

At Westpark Early Learning Centre, we believe that learning should be meaningful, engaging, and guided by each child’s natural curiosity.

By combining the Emergent Curriculum with the Reggio Emilia approach, we create a dynamic environment where children explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.

This child-centered approach nurtures intellectual curiosity, social-emotional development, and creative expression, ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and inspired on their learning journey.

Enrichment Through French & Music

At Westpark, we believe that a well-rounded education extends beyond the core curriculum. Our enrichment programs in French and Music give children opportunities to expand their creativity, communication, and cultural awareness from an early age.

French
French is introduced through joyful and engaging activities with our dedicated in-house French teacher. Using songs, stories, and games, children learn in a natural, playful way while building vocabulary and developing an early appreciation for French culture.

Music
Music is woven into each day as children explore sound, rhythm, and instruments from around the world. These lively sessions spark creativity, strengthen listening skills, and nurture a lifelong love for music.
